Here's what you need to know about my coaching style: I am not a proponent of "tough love." You're already tough enough on yourself — you don't need anyone else to be tough on you, too!

Instead of taking a "tough love" approach, I prefer compassionately challenging you, and this is why: 

“Tough love” puts the tough first (BEFORE the love)...

...Whereas being “compassionately challenging” puts the compassion first.

Being “compassionately challenging” invites you to ELEVATE yourself.

There is value, usefulness, inspiration, motivation, kindness, and a levelling-up when you experience compassionately challenging coaching — but none of that inherently exists in tough love coaching.

The world can be tough enough, without love being tough, too.

About Sagan Morrow (your Personal Fulfillment Coach)

Hi! I'm Sagan (she/her), your Personal Fulfillment Coach.

I am an internationally board-certified Success & Life Coach and Practitioner of Emotional Freedom Techniques, and I've been working in teaching, coaching, and mentorship capacities since 2017.

As a solopreneur with chronic anxiety, insomnia, and nightmares, I've had to adjust traditional business practices to meet my unique needs. After experimenting and successfully doing this in my own business (I started out as a freelance writer back around 2010), I began working with other solopreneurs to help them create productivity systems and business models that were designed with their personality, brain, and lifestyle at the centre.

Solopreneurs are a highly unique type of business owner because of the inherent overlap between life and business. The more work I did with helping solopreneurs in their businesses, the more it affected their personal lives (in a good way — such as improving work/life balance!).

Frequently Asked Questions

"Am I locked into getting life coaching for a specific amount of time?"

Nope! You can do this for 1 month, 5+ years, or anywhere in between. You are always free to pause your subscription at any time and then renew again later.

If you want to get a sample coaching session, you can book a stand-alone "trial session" before committing to my standard offer of 2 calls/month.

The vast majority of clients benefit from a minimum of 6 months to maximize your results, but that is a recommendation, not a requirement.

Many clients stick around for the long haul, and I LOVE working with clients for many months/years at a time!

NOTE: If you pause your subscription and then I get booked out with clients before you want to renew again, I may not be able to accommodate you — which is also why it's strongly encouraged that you discuss your options with me in advance so you don't miss out!

"I'm in a different timezone. What days/times do your do coaching sessions?"

I'm based in Kamloops, BC (Canada), but I've worked with 1:1 clients in multiple timezones and countries (including Australia, UK, and Japan).

Typically we do virtual coaching sessions Tuesday - Thursday, 9am PT - 4pm PT. However, if you are unavailable during that time, we'll find another day/time that suits your needs!

"Is this ONLY for solopreneurs?"

Nope! Although I specialize in working with solopreneurs, I'm an internationally board-certified Life Coach and I'm available to work with you on your personal life. 

These sessions are specifically for PERSONAL FULFILLMENT, life coaching, and mindset coaching — which means ANYONE can benefit from this (not just solopreneurs).

If you want business coaching (and/or if you want a hybrid of coaching, consulting, mentoring, and teaching), you may instead want to look into the Solopreneur CEO coaching program (it includes life coaching as part of it).

"What is your scope of practice?"

Although I'm an internationally board-certified Success & Life Coach, I am not a mental health professional.

Coaching can be therapeutic, but it is not therapy. (I'm pro-therapy and have worked with many clients who have had therapy in the past, and/or use it in conjunction with coaching)

I'm unable to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, we focus on mindset shifts, behavioural change, self-discovery, and building your intrapersonal skills.

"Why is this an ongoing subscription of 2 coaching calls/month?"

I typically recommend 2 sessions/month for the vast majority of people, because it gives you an opportunity to integrate and implement what we discuss in your life — and 2 (or sometimes 3) weeks later, we can then explore what worked well or where we can make tweaks.

This also gives you the space, over time, to begin doing self-coaching independently — I teach you self-coaching skills throughout our work together so that you have the confidence and capacity to do this work both with and without me at your side!

Lastly, every individual is different, so it's difficult to say exactly how many sessions is the right amount for YOU. An ongoing subscription makes it easy for us to continue doing coaching for as short or as long as you want and need it (so you aren't "locked in" to doing it for a specific length of time, and you aren't "forced out" before you're ready to graduate from coaching).

"Can we do a different coaching package than what's listed here?"

Yes! 

Please contact hello[at]saganmorrow[dot]com and we can discuss your options for customizing a coaching package for your unique wants and needs, e.g. if you prefer an intensive 2-hour session, or 3 calls over the course of a single week, or paying in full for 12 months of coaching, etc. 

Most clients benefit from 2 calls/month in the beginning (e.g. for the first 6 months), and then gradually reduce to 1 call/month as "tune-up" sessions.

NOTE: I strongly recommend no fewer than at least 3 coaching calls. Personal fulfillment is an ongoing journey — so, while we can cover a LOT in a single session, you'll get the most out of your coaching experience with a package of ongoing sessions.

(Three coaching calls is what I suggest as the absolute bare minimum, so you can get a taste for what to expect. However, most people will get the best long-lasting results from at least 6 coaching calls, and ideally, continuous ongoing sessions.)

"Is personal fulfillment coaching right for me?"

These life coaching sessions are PERFECT for you if you:

Terms & Conditions
1. You must complete the initial assessment welcome form BEFORE we book our first one-on-one coaching call. (Upon completing this form, Sagan will be in touch to arrange an appointment time with you.) 
2. Each life coaching call will each be up to sixty (60) minutes long.
3. You are responsible for ensuring you have a good Internet connection so we can clearly see and hear each other, without delays hindering our coaching session conversations.
4. You will receive a downloadable recording of your coaching call within approximately 24 hours of the session. If you wish to keep a copy of it for your records, you are responsible for downloading it within one (1) week of getting it (after which it will be deleted from the cloud and may no longer be available for you to access).
5. Your one-on-one coaching call(s) must be booked within three (3) months of purchase, or you may forfeit access to them.
6. This is a coaching subscription service with no minimum obligation or maximum amount. You will be charged on a recurring monthly basis until/unless you choose to pause or cancel your subscription. You are responsible for ensuring your sessions are booked within a timely fashion.
7. We understand that sometimes unexpected things come up! However, in the case of needing to reschedule any sessions, please do this ASAP so we can make adjustments accordingly. Sagan will do the same for you.
8. In the case of Sagan arriving late to a session, you will receive a corresponding extra amount of coaching time from her to accommodate.
9. In the case of you arriving late to a session, it may cut into your session time (and extra amount of coaching may not be provided).
10. Arriving more than ten (10) minutes late to your session may be counted as a no-show to that session.
11. All coaching calls must be paid for in advance. E.g. In the case of your credit card expiring, please ensure it is updated in a timely fashion or any scheduled calls will be cancelled/rescheduled until payment has been processed.
12. Coaching calls are non-refundable. However, we are committed to your satisfaction! If you are dissatisfied with your experience, please share your concerns with Sagan so we can make sure you are fully satisfied with this experience. Please note that if you choose to pause or cancel your subscription, you are responsible for pausing/cancelling your subscription prior to the next payment (You will not be refunded if you accidentally wait until after the cutoff time).
