This past autumn, I hosted the FIRST-EVER live round of Productivity Powerhouse — my personal productivity e-course that teaches you how to save 10 hours/week on YOUR terms, using personality-based productivity and anti-hustle methods — and it was so successful that we’re opening the doors for the SECOND live round of Productivity Powerhouse!
The “live” version of Productivity Powerhouse is called the Immersive Experience, and it includes the exact same curriculum as the regular self-paced version BUT it also includes live accountability calls.
If you struggle to complete e-courses when you sign up for them, the Immersive Experience is a GREAT option for you! We go through the entire curriculum together as a group and I’ll be there alongside you every step of the way to provide support, encouragement, recommendations, motivation, and accountability so you don’t need to worry about dropping off partway through.
I posted an article back in October detailing my own breakthroughs in going through the first half of the Productivity Powerhouse curriculum, so it’s time to do the “Part 2” of that article! Let’s dive in…
Quick Recap — the First 5 Weeks of this Personal Productivity E-course…
During the first half of the Productivity Powerhouse curriculum, we:
- Got clarity on personal and professional goals and values.
- Created business plans.
- Learned how to manage energy and prevent burnout.
- Improved time management (to start saving 10 hours/week) and mapped out full strategies for achieving goals.
- Upgraded task management and organizational systems to skyrocket productivity.
Click HERE to read the Productivity Framework for Solopreneurs Midway Recap for full details of exactly what we did during those first 5 weeks — plus the breakthroughs I experienced and fascinating discoveries that were made!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Productivity Powerhouse was designed for solopreneurs (hence the business side of things), BUT it can actually be used for just about anything!
You can apply the entire curriculum to your personal life (e.g. hobbies, relationships, household, travel, etc), or your professional life (e.g. managing employees, improving work communication, quitting your 9 to 5 job, starting/growing/pivoting your business, etc).
Moving right along…
Week 6 of the Productivity Powerhouse Immersive Experience
What we did during this week of the personal productivity e-course:
- Step 6 lesson — Simplify Your Processes.
- Created a documentation manual.
- Organized business into departments and subdivisions.
- Mapped out internal roles (the many “hats” you wear as a solopreneur).
- Put together a decision-making matrix.
How this week went for me:
I had some GREAT revelations about my business structure, and realized that it was time to rework my existing decision-making matrix and business departments (which had previously worked perfectly for me for years, but — as with many things in our business — could still use some finessing).
It was so cool to shift my departmental structure and organizational chart to reflect the evolution of my business. My business is not the same as it was three years ago, so the updated structure needed to be updated. (And now that I’ve been using the new updated structure for a few months, I can confirm that it is FANTASTIC and even better than my old version!)
This week was a good reminder that just because something is working, it doesn’t mean you should automatically make the assumption that it’s the best course of action.
Experimenting and revisiting current systems/methods is so important to do, no matter how well everything is working or how long it’s been in place: You’ll either figure out an even better system or method, OR you’ll get confirmation that your original version really is THAT awesome. Win win either way!
Week 7 of the Productivity Powerhouse Immersive Experience
What we did during this week of the program:
- Overview of Module 3 — Make Your Business Fun.
- Step 7 lesson — Walk Your Talk.
- Worked through issues around overwhelm, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, procrastination, and negative thought spirals.
- Learned how to effectively and proactively deal with a productivity stall.
- Put together a recalibration matrix, issues & fixes template, and ideas bucket as useful internal resources.
- Took ACTION on the strategies and plans we made during previous weeks!
How this week of the personal productivity e-course went for me:
One of the biggest breakthroughs I had was that my current business activities — in particular, the Content Ecosystem I’d created during the summer where I was blogging 3x weekly — was not sustainable for the long-term. The work we did this week brought to light some uncomfortable truths about very deep foundational changes I needed to make within my business so that everything I’m doing can be sustainable for 3, 5, 10 years into the future.
I also had an epiphany in which I FINALLY, truly learned this lesson: Just because I have the capacity to add more, it does not mean I NEED to add more.
This week was a good reminder that Productivity Powerhouse is not for the faint of heart. This personal productivity e-course CHALLENGES you and invites you to explore a whole new side of yourself, your business, and everything you think you know about productivity.
Week 8 of the Productivity Powerhouse Immersive Experience
What we did during this week of the program:
- Step 8 lesson — Fire Up Your Systems.
- Did a productivity audit to assess productivity systems at ALL levels.
- Made use of gamification, delegation, automation, and repurposing (including a gamification exercise, delegation/automation strategizing, and repurposing audit).
How this week went for me:
I had a great breakthrough about content workflow (especially bringing it back to my previous realizations around business sustainability: Just because I have a system, that doesn’t mean it needs to be time-bound.
This week was a good reminder that I created the Productivity Powerhouse curriculum with INTENTION built into every piece of it! The order of the program matters a lot — and even when it’s tempting to skip ahead, it can cause larger problems down the line (e.g. with the previous iteration of my Content Ecosystem. I put it together BEFORE going through all the steps of Productivity Powerhouse; if I’d waiting until I’d gone through the framework fully, I would’ve seen the problems within it ahead of time).
Week 9 of the Productivity Powerhouse Immersive Experience
What we did during this week of the personal productivity e-course:
- Step 9 lesson — Celebrate Your Progress.
- Built out success strategies to stay on track and making great progress, now and into the future.
- Conducted the first of many future weekly business audits.
- Conducted the first of many performance reviews (yes, even as a solopreneur you should do your own performance reviews!)
How this week went for me:
It was so beautiful to do the business audit and performance review, because it highlighted the sheer AMOUNT of tasks I’m able to complete — and the SPEED at which I’m able to move — as a direct result of the anti-hustle methods I teach in Productivity Powerhouse.
(I practice what I preach!)
This week was a good reminder that no matter how advanced you are, you can always benefit from revisiting foundations and coming back to this work.
I’ve been a business owner for about 15 years, and I originally created Productivity Powerhouse in 2019 — and I STILL benefit from revisiting the foundations and going through the framework. I STILL have powerful revelations and transformative breakthroughs, thanks to this program (even as the creator of this program!)
Now THAT is powerful.
Wrap-up Week for the Productivity Powerhouse Immersive Experience
What we did during this week of the personal productivity e-course:
- Productivity Mastery exam (open-book test to assess comprehension and implementation of everything you learn — OPTIONAL, but strongly recommended!)
- Reviewed how to apply the Productivity Powerhouse framework to things OUTSIDE of general solopreneurship (e.g. quitting your day job, writing a book, taking a full week off each month, being a featured guest on podcasts, etc).
- Levelling Up assessment for making great use of everything you learn in Productivity Powerhouse on an ongoing basis into the future.
- Graduation day!
How this week went for me:
It was bittersweet to bring the first-ever live version of Productivity Powerhouse to a close, but it was more inspiring and invigorating than anything: It really brought home how much I want to continue doing this on an ongoing basis (for you, taking the program, and for me too — because I got a TON out of doing this experience with you!).
This week was a good reminder that Productivity Powerhouse can be used for basically ANY project or goal you can think of — one of the solopreneurs in this program was using it for closing down her business; other people applied it to their volunteer work or their 9 to 5 jobs. It’s highly adaptable and customizable to all kinds of things (not just business!), and I love that.
Overall impressions after going through this entire personal productivity e-course in the first-ever LIVE version of it…
I enjoyed this entire experience from start to finish!
Even as an expert in productivity — even as the creator of this program — I STILL was having incredible breakthroughs and experienced improved productivity as a result of doing the Immersive Experience.
How cool is that?
In fact, this first live version of Productivity Powerhouse was such a success that we’re doing it all over again!
The next round of the IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE takes place March 26 - July 16, 2025.
Productivity Powerhouse is for YOU if you want to:
- Get back control of your time (and save 10 hours/week).
- Live life on YOUR terms (rather than forcing yourself into doing things that don’t make you happy).
- Improve productivity based on your personality (and your values, lifestyle, goals, etc).
- Enjoy healthy work/life balance (because your work should be a delightful SUPPLEMENT to your life, rather than taking over your life!).
- Make awesome progress on your goals (instead of watching the months go by while you stand still).
