You know how your hands start shaking and your heart beats faster when you’re submitting a final project to a client, or when you’re about to walk onto a stage and give a presentation, or when you’re about to tell someone “I love you” for the first time, or when you’re on a Zoom meeting and waiting for a prospective client to tell you whether they’re going to hire you?
That’s because you CARE. That is your body saying, “I care deeply about this. I want to do this right. I want this to turn out well.”
This type of fear is really about you caring a lot about the outcome. And that’s wonderful! It’s so good that you care so much ♥
...The problem is that sometimes you misinterpret that *caring* and translate it as pure fear… and then you might decide not to go through with that thing you care so deeply about, after all:
→ You ask for an extended deadline on your client project, or you submit it without asking for feedback — which means you miss out on awesome testimonials and the chance to get repeat work with a client who really LIKES your work!
→ You refuse to step on stage — and deprive attendees of the value you have to offer.
→ The words “I love you” stick in your throat — so that person doesn't get a chance to hear how you feel, after all.
→ You scramble to keep talking and don’t let that potential client get a word in edgewise, or you immediately lower your prices out of panic that they might not hire you otherwise — or you don’t end up pitching your services at all.
→ You hold yourself back from making a move, taking a risk, leaping forward.
“Maybe later,” you tell ourself, as you ignore the little pang of disappointment that you aren’t taking the leap, after all. “I can always try later.” You might even feel relief that you don’t need to step out of your comfort zone this time around.
But somehow… "later" never comes around, does it?
You just keep saying “Not yet… Maybe later.”
And then you wonder why you aren’t experiencing the level of success you WANT to achieve.
Saying "Not yet... Maybe later" is one way to deal with fear. OR — OR — You can decide that now IS the time to do it.
The fear might still be there. That’s okay. But here’s the type of thing you say instead, in that scenario...
“Doing this is scary because it makes it real… and I’m so proud of myself for doing this!”
“I feel excited now, instead of nervous!”
“I’m actually enjoying these big leaps!”
I receive messages like this all. the. time. from my coaching clients. The work we do together can feel scary, because you are stretching beyond your comfort zone!
…And you know what? EVERY time a client admits to me that they’re scared, they come back (sometimes in the same breath, sometimes a week later) and say, “I’m so glad I did that. I’m so proud of myself. I feel excited now, instead of afraid. I feel really good and confident now! I’m enjoying myself.”
Isn’t that fascinating and beautiful? Their fear transforms into confidence and courage and joy and fulfillment and success!
We all have things we’re afraid of doing… and too often, we let that fear hold us back from playing big, from making the moves and doing the thing we’ve been dreaming about.
Fear is running the show when you procrastinate… Fear is running the show when you label yourself as a perfectionist… Fear is running the show every time you think, “I’d love to do/be that, but not yet. I can’t, because…”
What if you say THIS instead: "What would my best self do in this situation? What would the most successful version of me do, right now?"
When you ask yourself this question, you are in a better position to make the right decisions — big and small — for where you're at, at THIS stage of the journey.
... And it can start now.
I want to help you make the shift from fear to confidence, from nervous to excited, from scared of taking action to proud of your accomplishments — I want to help you make these shifts like I’ve helped every one of my clients do before you.
If that sounds like something you love the idea of doing, but it feels scary or outside of your comfort zone... Then consider this your sign, your calling, to make a move.
We can make your dreams real.
Are you willing to take the first step?
Are you willing to turn your fears into joyful achievement?

Let me reiterate:
When you see people living a life or owning a business similar to what YOU want… it can seem as though they’re fearless.
Spoiler alert: They’re not.
…but they ARE making a point of harnessing that fear.
(And that’s what we do together in Solopreneur CEO)
Here's the thing... Courage isn’t about being fearless. It’s about recognizing the fear, pulling it apart, redirecting and reshaping it, and moving forward with what you truly desire.
(Fear shows up in ALL KINDS of ways, too! Procrastination, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, fear of failure or success... All of this is experienced by successful solopreneurs, and all of them are harnessing it)
The other side of the coin is clarity — because you can't move forward with what you truly desire unless you KNOW what it is that you truly desire. Clarity is about understanding a) exactly what your heart wants, and b) tactics for how you will actually achieve that desire.
And this also requires harnessing fear. Sometimes we're afraid to admit what we want... because it means we need to take a risk, make a change, step out of our comfort zone, and get honest with ourselves that maybe we want something different or more than where we're currently at.
...That's scary stuff!
This is why *knowing* that we need courage and clarity is different from *embodying* it. And it's okay if you're struggling with this.
→ If you don’t quite know what you want, I can help you.
→ If you don’t know how to achieve what you desire, I can help you.
→ If you are struggling to get past fear and take the right steps to reach your goals, I can help you.
Solopreneur CEO harnesses your fears and empowers you to find yourself again when you’re feeling lost with your business.
With all of this in mind...
Here are 3 questions I want you to ask yourself, right now:
- Do I know EXACTLY what I want, unequivocally, from my business?
- Do I know specifically what steps to take to achieve all of my goals?
- Do I know how to inspire myself into taking action?
>> PAUSE right here! Genuinely take a few minutes to consider those questions. This is important. Solopreneur success requires us to be honest with ourselves about these things.
If you have uncertainty around ANY of those 3 questions… I am here for you.
“Okay, Sagan. I DO want to grow my business… I like the idea of scaling my business... but I’m still not sure if I’m ready yet.”
If that's what you're thinking right now, then I want you to consider this...
What if you are ALREADY… all ready?
We are so good at convincing ourselves that we aren’t ready yet… but what if you ARE ready for this next level of your business, for this business growth?
If you like the idea of growing your business, but you're not sure if you're truly ready for it, then guess what? By virtue of the fact that you WANT it, that means you ARE ready for it!
You don’t need to FEEL ready in order to BE ready for your business growth. Sometimes, we are ready long before we realize it. If you want this… You are ready for it.
And it’s waiting for you ♥
Why NOW is the time to do this…
The doors to Solopreneur CEO are open now! And you don’t have to worry about trying to cram something into your already overflowing schedule because we adjust the program to meet your needs.
